Learn to move and move to learn! Brain training with Dan will engage your body and your brain from day one. Specific and proven brain enhancing exercises will be demonstrated, taught, and practiced by the student over time to maximize their brain and improve their life. It’s FUN! Physical Education has always been an important part of school. Why? Because movement enhances learning!

Brain training with Dan is a type of movement training. Dan has witnessed first hand the positive brain effects of juggling and other circus type skills. This type of movement training is an investment in your child’s future. But not just for children. Teens and adults can benefit as well.

This course is designed to help individuals develop brain connections which will improve academic and life skills resulting in successful living. Dan also enjoys challenging adults, teens, and seniors to take the course. Your brain will not be disappointed. Although Dan enjoys teaching individual group workshops, Dan’s Brain Training program is not a short-term program. It is a comprehensive program for long-term success.

It is difficult for a non traditional learning type personality to learn effectively in a traditional school setting. Failure, frustration, and anger are just a few emotions one may experience when you’re not being taught in the way that you learn best. Dan’s brain training course may help you overcome your learning challenges.

Scarf Juggling Play

“Individuals who learn to juggle show a structural change in the brains storage of complex visual motion.” Nature – Journal of Science

“Research suggests exercise spurs growth in a brain structure associated with memory, possibly leading to improved function. When new nerve cells form in the brain, their growth is accompanied by the creation of blood vessels. Researchers found that exercise increased blood volume in the dentate gyrus (a region of the hippocampus, which is used in memory), implying new cells were forming in the area.” National Academy of Sciences of the U.S.A., Columbia University

It wasn’t too long ago when scientists thought our brains were fully developed by our mid twenties. We now know for a fact that our brains continue to grow with the proper stimuli. Our brains are designed to expand in power to meet the demands we place on them. Just look at technology over the last hundred years.

Balance Training.

If you just sit around and be inactive or do the same routine day in and day out, you are not challenging your brain. Unfortunately the elderly often fall into this pattern. Walter Bortz, M.D., said, “The brain, no less the rest of the body, is subject to the ‘use it or lose it’ law.” Don’t settle into a brain numbing existence. Improve your life and grow your brain. Brain Training With Dan is for you.

Dan has created an online video lesson program.

Home School Brain Games is a gym class for the mind and body. These are great home school activities. There are 24 Lessons. Each lesson contains unique skill games. Often the next lesson builds off the skills of the previous lesson. Start at lesson 1 and work your way through. Although the beginning lessons may seem very simple, please spend at least a week on them. Practice at least 3 times per week for 20-30 minutes. For the most benefit practice 5 times a week. Doing three 20 minute sessions 3 times per week is better than one 60 minute session once per week. Repeat a lesson at any time.

You do not have to be perfect at one lesson to move onto the next!

Because you’re not training with me in person, you will not have access to my training materials. So before you get started you will need to have some training materials. Three things you really need to have before starting is a peacock feather, a yard stick and a ball that can be held comfortably in one’s hand. These items aren’t expensive but you do have to get them. And I’m sorry for that. You can find links to all the items right here: Tools For Success
